For the registration of Diplomatic Corps or Consular registration plates Diplomatic Representations can contact the Ceremonial of the Republic (Office I), which will forward the request to the Ministry of Transport, empowered to issue registration plates and relative vehicle log books. Assignment of the diplomatic registration plate is strictly personal. The diplomatic registration plate cannot be transferred to another automobile, even if the vehicle has the same owner.
