1. Who is Easy Diplomacy run by?

    Easy Diplomacy is run by a company called Easy Embassy Srl, which collaborates with institutions in order to guarantee a serious and top quality service.

  2. Is there any charge for using Easy Diplomacy?

    No, Easy Diplomacy is a completely free portal for users.

  3. Who can subscribe to the service? Diplomats or local staff? What qualifications do you need?

    Easy Diplomacy is a service open to everyone working in the diplomatic world, as specified in point 3.1 of the Terms of use.

  4. Can someone working in a diplomatic representation overseas, outside Italian territory, also subscribe?

    Of course. Providing they work within the diplomatic world, as specified in point 3.1 of the Terms of use.

  5. What checks are there for ascertaining the user’s identity and his belonging to the diplomatic world?

    When subscribing the user authorises Easy Diplomacy to undertake necessary checks – normally by telephone – at the office given at the time of subscription, as specified in point 3.3 of the Terms of use of the portal. Also, when subscribing the user must accept the Terms of use, in particular point 3.5 declaring that the user will not provide false or incorrect information.
    Any users abusing the system will be prosecuted.

  6. Are there any other filters to combat abuse?

    An ID document or certificate on headed notepaper may be requested attesting to the user’s employment in the diplomatic world.

  7. Can I make use of the services and offers only for the Embassy I am working in or also for myself?

    The registered usert can take up the exclusive offers and services for both work purposes and for personal use.

  8. What happens if my job position changes within the Embassy I am working for, and is no longer that communicated when I subscribed to the portal? And what if I change Embassy? Must I tell you?

    It is in your interest to report any changes to portal staff, who will update your personal details wherever you are.

  9. What happens if I am transferred to another country for a new role?

    The user can always stay an Easy Diplomacy member! Thus he will always have all our services at his disposal and will remain in touch with the diplomatic community and the Easy Diplomacy staff.
    It is in his interest to report the change of Office or job to portal staff, who will update his personal details.

  10. What happens if I stop working in the diplomatic world and continue to be subscribed to the portal?

    A user that ceases to work in the diplomatic world is obliged to report the fact to portal staff, as specified in point 9.1 of the Terms of use. Any user abusing the system will be prosecuted.

  11. How are subscribers’ data processed with regard to privacy laws?

    Easy Diplomacy undertakes to guarantee the privacy and confidentiality of its users’ data. For more details read our privacy policy.

  12. I have subscribed to the portal, but I am not receiving the newsletter. Why not?

    Because the newsletter is a separate service, requiring a specific subscription after registering with the portal. It is one of the exclusive services reserved for subscribers; once subscribed, the user must fill in the fields on the relative page.

  13. Is there a guide for learning how to use the portal?

    Easy Diplomacy is very intuitive. However we advise our members to subscribe also to the newsletter service so as to keep in touch with the latest news and changes and to better understand how the service works.   14. What does being an Easy Diplomacy Member mean? The Code of Ethics helps me to understand it!

    The Code of Ethics is just an invitation to reflect about the contribution that each Member can bring to the Community and the benefits he can take from being part of it. Being a Member means being part of an organization which, free of charge, helps you to work better and allows you  to develop interesting and useful professional and interpersonal relationships.
