The Vatican Gardens is the place where the Holy Father goes to rest and meditate, and occupy about two thirds of the surface area of the Vatican City.
They may be visited but only if accompanied by a guide of the Museums’ Guided Visits Office. Entry and exit is via the Vatican Museums.
Cost of ticket: full 31.00 euro – reduced 24.00 euro
The ticket includes: entrance to Museums (without guided tour), guided visit to Gardens and rental of audio guide.
Reservations can be made online from the Vatican website: www.vatican.va or via the Pilgrims and Tourists Office (cost of ticket remains unchanged)
