Conversion of the licence means the substitution of the foreign licence with an Italian licence, without having to obtain an Italian licence through a driving examination.
Recognition
With the licence recognition procedure the foreign licence is kept by the driver, with the application of a stamp that allows identification in the national register of drive licence holders.
