The points of sale in Vatican City include “Clothing” and “Spacci Annonari” (general food stores) and have the following opening hours:
Clothing: From Monday to Saturday: 9:00am – 1:15pm – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 3:00pm – 18:15pm
Afternoon opening hours are suspended in August
Spacci Annonari: From Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm – Saturday: 7:00pm – 1:30pm
August opening hours: From Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm – Saturday: 7:00am – 1:30pm

Only the Diplomatic Corps to the Holy See, employees and retirees of the Holy See, of the Vatican City State and institutions connected to the Holy See can access the Vatican points of sale.
Customers require an electronic card issued by the competent authorities. The Diplomatic Corps can request the card in writing upon arrival in Rome from the Secretariat of State.
