Rome, 07/02/2019: In February, the ICE, Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, is organizing an interesting conference dedicated to Slovenia, during which a strategic cooperation plan will be presented, developed on a double front: the investment area – specifically the tourism infrastructure sector and the financial sector – and the innovation sector in the most modern and developed sectors of the economy.
The initiative is enriched by the valuable support of agencies and companies in the sector, as well as the most important research center in the country, the Jozef Stefan Institute, in collaboration with international research centers, and the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development.
Slovenia plays a key role as a strategic partner for Italy given its position in the top ten partners for per capita values – in sixth place, after Switzerland and just before the main international and European partners – in addition to being the most important commercial collaborator in the Balkan area.
The country is set up as a young and innovative production center, currently working on investment plans in the aerospace field and new technologies to promote projects such as Smart Cities and Communities and Factories of the future that will be presented during the event. Another point of great interest that will be dealt with will be the theme of the Circular Economy – with the presentation of the Networks for the Transition into Circular Economy project. Given the importance attached to advanced technology projects, in which the Government of the country participates with considerable funds allocated to research and development within its companies, the ICE-Agency initiative is important and stimulating, through which it is intended create a promising network of knowledge and opportunities between the two business partners. The objective, therefore, is to deepen the opportunities for investment, industrial and scientific collaboration in the Slovenian territory and support the activities of the Italian state in the promotion of a fruitful bilateral partnership between the two countries.
The initiative will culminate with an evening event in which speakers, successful entrepreneurs and the Slovenian Diplomatic Corps will take part. For Easy Diplomacy it is a great pleasure to support and coordinate this event, in synergy with the Sales Office of the Embassy of Slovenia, thus participating in the success of such an interesting initiative of economic cooperation and strengthening of those – already excellent – relations that exist between Slovenia and Italy.
