The women of the Embassy create art for “Médicins sans frontières”
Rome, 16 December 2013 – On 13 December, at the Hotel InterContinental De La Ville, took place a peculiar Christmas Market, organized by Easy Diplomacy and promoted by the Delegation of Québec in Italy, along with the Embassy of Haiti to the Holy See and the Swiss Embassy.
Dr. Renosto, Head of Mission of the Delegation of Québec, addressed the audience introducing the importance of the Christmas gift, not just in the diplomatic world. Then she went on underlying that the very aim of the event was to donate the proceeds to “Médicins sans frontières”.
Many representatives of the diplomatic world with the passion for handcrafts participated to the event, among them the Ambassador of Haiti to the Holy See, H.E. Mr. Carl-Henri GUITEAU, the Brazilian Consul, Mr. Paulo Roberto PALM, Lt. Colonel of the US Army, Mr. Robert RUFFOLO, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Croatia in Rome, Mr. Ilija ZELALIC and Chief of Secretary of the Directorate of the Vatican Museum, Mrs. Karin JENSEN.
